I have been ask hundreds of times over the past five years about my journey with the Autoimmune disease, Lupus. I was diagnosed with both Cutaneous (Discoid) as well as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
During the course of the past eight years, I’ve managed to learn how to support my body in the best ways possible to lessen any symptoms of this disease.
I recently did a LIVE Facebook event where I shared my story. How I discovered my diagnosis, educated and advocated for myself, as well as what I chose to focus on and how I have been virtually symptom free for the past three and a half years.
I shared during the video these photos, it is pretty dramatic and emotional for me. Celebrating God’s goodness in my life!
If you have someone in your life who has Lupus or another type of auto-immune issue, this will be worth your time to watch.
I had an amazing time sharing information and giving hope to many. I want all who have been diagnosed to realize that it is not a life long sentence. The body is a miraculous machine designed to heal itself given the right environment.
